ABOUT ME
Nicole knows what burnout feels like. As a Registered Nurse, she spent years pouring into others while running on empty herself. When she finally turned to yoga and somatic practices, she didn’t just find relief, she found a path back to herself.
She now blends clinical knowledge with a functional and holistic approach to healing. As a Functional Medicine Practitioner, Nicole looks beyond symptoms to support the root causes of stress, fatigue, and imbalance, while integrating nervous system–based practices that help the body actually respond and reset.
Trained across multiple styles of yoga, Nicole specializes in trauma-informed, somatic practices that focus on nervous system regulation, body awareness, and sustainable healing from the inside out.
Certified in Naturopathy, Sound Healing, Reiki, EFT/TFT Tapping, Functional Medicine, and Trauma-Somatic Yoga, she creates a space that supports both the body and the nervous system. RYT-200, currently completing an additional 300-hour training toward her RYT-500 certification.
Bit of A Stretch was founded in 2023 on the belief that everyone deserves a safe, welcoming space to reconnect with their body, calm their nervous system, and simply feel better. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up, exactly as you are.
No mirrors. No judgment. Just real movement, real support, and a place to come back to yourself.
CLASSES
Flow / Vinyasa
A steady, guided class that links breath with movement to build strength, balance, and coordination. You’ll move through intentional sequences that can be modified up or down, making this class approachable for beginners while still challenging for those wanting to deepen their practice. Expect to leave feeling stronger, more mobile, and mentally reset.
This is for you if:
• You want a well-rounded class that builds strength and flexibility
• You’re new but want something you can grow into
• You’re ready to feel more connected to your body and breath
Sculpt / Weights
A strength-focused class that blends yoga with light weights and controlled, functional movement. Designed to build muscle, improve endurance, and support joint stability, this class meets you at your level with options to increase or decrease intensity. You’ll feel the work, but it’s purposeful, supportive, and effective for building real strength in your body.
This is for you if:
• You want to tone and strengthen without high-impact stress
• You’re looking to build muscle and feel more powerful in your body
• You like a little challenge with clear guidance and support
Barre-Inspired Movement
Low-impact, high-burn. Barre focuses on small, controlled movements that target stability, posture, and muscle endurance, especially in the core, hips, and legs. Don’t let the simplicity fool you, this class challenges in a way that’s safe, effective, and accessible for all levels, with modifications always available.
This is for you if:
• You want to improve posture, stability, and core strength
• You enjoy controlled movement with a deep muscle burn
• You need something effective but gentle on joints
Chair Yoga
A supportive, accessible class designed for all bodies and abilities. Using a chair for stability, you’ll move through gentle stretches, mobility work, and breath-based movement to reduce stiffness, improve circulation, and build confidence in your body. Perfect for beginners, those returning after injury, or anyone wanting a slower, more supported pace.
This is for you if:
• You’re new to movement or getting back into it
• You deal with stiffness, pain, or limited mobility
• You want to move your body in a way that feels safe and supported
RESTORATIVE + MEDITATION
Restorative Yoga
A slower, supportive practice focused on deep relaxation and recovery. Designed to calm the nervous system and release built-up tension.
Meditation + Breathwork
Guided practices to quiet the mind, regulate the body, and create space for clarity and calm.
*These practices are offered in workshops, private sessions, and will be expanding into evening and weekend classes.
WORKSHOPS
Somatic Yoga Workshops
These small-group, 4-week intensives go beyond a typical class. Each session builds on the next, focusing on:

A deeply restorative session that combines gentle bodywork with layered essential oils applied along the spine and feet. Designed to support relaxation, reduce muscle tension, and promote overall balance in the body.

Raindrop Technique with Hot Stones
This enhanced session adds the warmth of hot stones to deepen relaxation, ease tight muscles, and support circulation. The combination of heat and essential oils creates a calming, full-body reset experience.
Nervous System Reset Sessions
A guided session focused on helping your body shift out of stress and into a more regulated, calm state.
Includes:
• Somatic grounding + body awareness
• Breathwork for regulation
• Light EFT tapping (as needed)

A full-body, nervous system-focused experience designed for deep relaxation and release.
